Everything was smoothOrdered these to decorate the interior of my condo with, and it covered such a good amount of the house. The light were easy to set up (even though untangling them took a little time) and very easy to use. I used each different blinking settings for different moods (party/quiet dinner) and it was easy to switch with the remotes. The lights are bright enough to even see in the daytime, but not so much that they're obnoxious during the night. Overall, I think this is absolutely a great buy and I've kept them safe and tucked away for next Christmas, but they'd be great decoration for any outdoor/patio area as well. Turned the lights on, they seemed great and was super stoked since we don’t have outlets in the back yard. Next day, nothing! Didn’t even get to use them to show off. Ugh. Crappy. Awful. My only complaint is I wish they were a bit brighterUsed these camping to gently illuminate a tent and a pop up awning. Light was pleasant but didn't get bright enough to read by, just to see adequately in the dark. Liked that I could see at night without having to blind my husband with a head lamp. The string of lights on the pop up awning held up well in the rain when it leaked through. Even the battery box got wet but the inside stayed nice and dry, lights fully functional. These are a nice sturdy set that are longer and better quality than you'd expect for the price. The remote is handy as well!These are not super bright but quite nice. The batteries don't last very long so I have it on sparingly. You have to be within about 15 feet to use the remote which is not perfect for the situation I wanted to use it. The timer has been a challenge to use but we don't think we want it on 6 hours anyway.
