We have placed the correct batteries in both car and remote control and although the lights come on - on car and remote control - the car just sits there and refuses to move.We voucher with our son and there 3 children until now, July, 2022 for Christmas so we are praying that you will still refund our money so we can purchase another one of these in hopes it will work! We will have this one delivered straight to their address in GAExtremely smaller than expectedGot it for my grand daughter. I had to get one for me so we could raceThe car stopped working in the first 24 hours. The car battery connector wouldn’t hold the battery in properly so when it went over bumps the battery would shift and we’d lose power. My husband fixed that, then the remote stopped working on one side and the car will only move in circles now. Very dissapointed.UPDATE 11/15/2018I requested a refund or replacement from the seller (Freehold Co) and got a quick response. They sent a replacement at no charge. Excellent customer service, I couldn't be more pleased with them. The new car however, worked better than the first one but has slowed down to where it doesn't drive fast enough to flip. It makes my toddler happy so it gets a 3 star but still not worth the money to me. I got a better car so my older child who got it as a present wouldn't feel jipped. Great Seller to buy from, but don't waste your money on this little car!I have a friend whose son had this car and my son liked it so I thought I would get it for him at Christmas. It was broken quickly. The tires come off and seem to be easy to put back on but they will not stay on. If you pick it up and run it holding onto it, it works. If you set it on the ground it doesn't. Get at your own risk. For my 2 year old great grand sonMy 6 year old son bought this car with his birthday money, because an RC car has been on his want list for some time. Right from the start, we had problems putting the batteries in because the screw to the battery bay is apparently manufactured from butter, stripping even with a lightweight, handheld screw driver. When we finally managed to get batteries into the thing, my son played with it for about 4 minutes before, out of frustration, he just put it aside. My older sons tried to have fun with it and teach him how to properly drive it, but they, too, gave up. When I tried to use it myself, I found the controls very non-intuitive, especially if you've ever used an RC car before. The two thumbsticks operate more like a tank or a zero-radius riding lawn mower, except unlike RC tanks I've driven in the past, to turn, you have to remember to leave the opposite stick absolutely neutral, or the car does this jerky, motor-stepping spasm. On top of that, the tires, quite thin-walled and flimsy, keep coming off the rims. Meanwhile, the battery panel on the controller falls off frequently. We haven't even bothered to make the thing flip yet, as we can't even have fun just driving it around normally!Overall, a bad enough experience that I felt compelled to warn others to stay away. There's a reason this product is so inexpensive. It's poorly conceived, and poorly made. You'll be much better off dropping 10-20 bucks more on an RC car your kid will actually get some enjoyment out of.We really wanted to love this car, the first one came broke and the second barely works, you have to follow the car with the remote in order for it to get signal, that’s ridiculous! I’m too exhausted to try again. At least it looks cool.
