It's good, it's pretty lightweight and easy to move around. Two main complaints, I have a 1000 square foot apartment. The battery is usually less than 25% by the time I get done with it. So if you have a place bigger than that and are planning to use it for the whole thing, you may want to consider something a bit beefier.Second main complaint, if you have a lot of long hair to pick up like me, chances are you'll have to physically pull out the dirt it collects from the vacuum because it gets wrapped up and clogged. So if you hate the concept of touching dirt and vacuumed material to clear out the chamber, you probably want to find something else.Other than that the power and suction is good for what I need it. I mostly have hard floors with a couple of rugs and it does the trickThis is a very good vacuum. It has good suction (3 power levels). Bought it primarily to do the stairs and it is lightweight enough and maneuverable. The only drawback is it doesn’t do medium pile carpet as well as I hoped. This is consistent with other reviews about carpet height. It works well when pulling it toward me, but not in pushing on mid-level pile carpets. However, with the 3 power levels I believe we are going to be happy with the product. We have another light weight wand vacuum we use for the primary areas of the carpet, but I bought this one because I could attach the motor directly to the head for vacuuming the stairs.Pros: Love the charging station that also holds tools. Very good suction for its class of tool. Great for everyday pickup of small messes and also wonderful for keeping up hard floors between mopping. Cons: Wish it had a hard floor tool without the brush. Brush is really only useful if you have a small mess on cloth or carpet..for example the kitty-litter-catcher mat, crumbs on the dining room rug after meals, etc. That being said, the electric roller brush head actually creates more work. Roller head quickly becomes ineffective during cleaning as it rolls up hair, thread, twine, or any other thread thing it comes across. At that point you are pretty much just pushing the dirt around. Battery life is very short on high setting, so if you need prolonged, strong suction, this iui s not for you. That fault is balanced somewhat by convenience of charging station being easy-on and off. Biggest con is what I consider to be a design flaw. Where the easy-on and off dirt cup attaches and seals to the intake pipe, it's entire intake hole is very tiny and has a rubber flap type valve that opens when sucking contents through. I spent more time fiddling with this piece of rubber than I did actually cleaning. At one point as I was removing a dog hair clog ( which is a specifically advertised use for this machine), the rubber piece came off and constantly fell off after that. So I finally just left it off. Actually picks up better without it. Still, overall a pretty good little machine that beats out all the others for the price.Update 12/30/21--The company emailed me directly and tried to bribe me with a free vacuum to remove my comments. Very sleazy. I just reduced my Overall Rating to reflect such an unethical business model. Perhaps they'd do better by focusing on producing a quality product instead of trying to coerce customers:"We would like to send you a new vacuum cleaner. Maybe you can try it again and see a difference. Do you agree? If so, please give us your address.Would you please give us another chance to remove the negative rating for us? ..."While I'm editing this review, I'd like to re-iterate how happy I am with the BLACK+DECKER Power Series Pro Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, 2-in-1, Purple (HCUA525JP). It's powerful, it's flexible, (offering hand vacuuming options with included attachments), has sensors that adapts to your floor and adjust suction automatically, stands up on it's own, empties easily, and could likely replace a more powerful corded vacuum. We like it so much, be bought another for the upstairs. Looking around our house, there is a good reason this is our 3rd (and soon to be 4th) Black & Decker vacuum. There is nothing like a good tool for getting the job done. Stretch yourself financially over this Micol and you'll be rewarded for years to come every time you use the Black and Decker.---------------Initial Review:I did my homework and chose this unit for the high suction rating and more powerful motor. Ultimately, I just didn't feel it was a good value or worked well compared to reviews of a more traditional design cordless upright vac.The waste bin is small, the head is too light to apply pressure to do a good job on carpet, the head flops back and forth when trying to vacuum steps, and the battery drains too fast on the high setting. While the battery is technically detachable, it still must be charged while on the unit so it still needs to be by an electrical outlet. I was hoping that I could easily detach the battery, charge it, and store the vacuum away from an outlet, which is what advertising a detachable battery would suggest.Given the higher price than similarly designed vacuums, I realized that I would be better off with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V6N468S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This is by not a powerful vacuum, but it gets the basic jobs done quickly, easily and efficiently. For the price you really can't complain. I've had it for four months and had no problems.I would not recommend this as your primary vacuum. It will not get your rugs clean enough for that. Nonetheless, I still use it for the majority of my vacuuming chores. I use it once a week and then use my primary vacuum once month. For my hardwood floors it does alright, but the rotor can throw dirt out the back, if you aren't careful. What is nice is I was able to buy a cheap powerful plug-in behemoth for cheap, so for a total of well Less than two hundred dollars I have a quick vac and one that picks up the little stuff you don't see because it's below the surface.I would absolutely recommend this vacuum, with the caveat that you also have a cheap plugin to get the little ground in stuff.Bought this as a present It's so lovely I might just have to treat myself to one ??I used this fabric for topping jars of home made chutney. It has clear colours and is perfect for thisThis is a stunning picture bought for my hybbys Christmas and I am sure he will love it.Lovely material just as described and delivered earlierMy niece is obsessed by David Bowie and I wanted to treat her for her 16th birthday. I was not let down when she opened it as the quality of the frame and print were perfect. It also came wrapped in a heavy duty protection layer. Great care of this product has been shown. Brilliant.
