We haven’t had this long but our son sure loves it!!! Not sure about the battery life yet. Seems like it’s okay, but if our daughter rides with, it seems to lug a little and then runs out quickly. That’s kind of a bummer because they ride together on all their other battery powered toys with no problem. They are both pretty tiny too. All and all, though, it’s been a great quad and he has driven it on all surfaces with no problem.I bought two of these for my twins when they turned two. These are recommended for kids a little older but there is two speeds and you can keep up with them on the low speed to help them steer and get the hang of it. My daughter was riding on her own in no time. My son actually doesn’t exactly get it still at 28 months. I think he will once he’s older but my daughter was trying to do tricks on it and riding on the high setting by the time she was 26 months old.Great 4 wheeler for its price but came not working from factory so returning it and buying anotherThe only reason I gave one star is so I could say something. This thing is cheap and low-quality. Ran maybe two weeks then would do nothing. Seller offered for me to send back, at first, at MY cost of shipping back which would have been over $100 . I emailed the seller and asked for help with shipping and told them i just wanted replacement, but they would not do it. Had me check this, test that, and trying things over and over, but nothing worked. The battery had charge, but wires or something had shorted out I guess. they offered me a new circuit board, which "was out of stock right now and will be available in another week". I told them I was not a mechanic and did not want to fool with all of that. Eventually, after a lot of back and forth, I got busy and forgot about it until return date had passed (which I'm sure the seller was counting on!) Wound up taking a $250 loss. Product sucks!! Seller sucks!This was a gift for my son's 5th Birthday, we absolutely love it and the fact he can use it for a few years makes it even better. Love that he can play the radio also, the battery life lasts all day. DANGEROUS! This power wheel is extremely dangerous for youngsters. After just a few months of use by my four year old, I noticed one day, when she was screaming for my help while riding the power wheel, because she could not make it stop. After inspecting the machine, I noticed that the accelerator pedal was sticking in the forward/down position. Anyone who has used a power wheel knows that there is no dedicated break, the only way to stop the machine from moving is to take your foot off the pedal. Boy am I sure unhappy about this product. Very very dangerous, cheap quality made in China.
