First day mom got it she lost her TV remote and was able to find it with the key finder remote. TV remote was down in her favorite chair where she loses most things! She put a key finder remote on her cell phone, TV remote and both sets of keys. If only they were small enough to attach to her hearing aids!Pros: The tile finder was nicely packed in a box with molded plastic to hold everything in place. The base holds the remote very well. It is easy to select the tile you are searching for. Tiles are marked with nice big numbers, each in a different color.Cons: Tiles are too big for taping or glueing to something like a remote control. The supplied pre-cut, double sided mounting tape piece are too small and the adhesion too weak to attach a tile to a hard surface, like a remote control. All the CR2032 Batteries were dead on arrival. I checked each with a meter. All lacked the adhesive seal on the positive side. Every CR2032 for sale in the US has one. It is a black circle filled with red and a line through it indicating it is a swallowing hazard. You have to peel it off before the battery can be used. Once you pry open the tile there is nothing to hold the battery in place and you have to be careful that it doesn't move around when you snap the tile closed. I tested each tile with a fresh battery I purchased locally. The tiles have numbers on the front. There is a small, recessed pin size hole for a red light to show when activated. It's tiny and hard to see unless you know where to look. There is another small hole slightly larger on the back of the tile that is the speaker port. If the tile is played with the front side facing up, I couldn't hear the speaker unless there was dead silence and I got within a foot or so of the tile. The sound of the speakers vary with each tile. Most are very weak and one exceptionally faint. All are essentially useless as a visual and audible tile finder. One tile was louder than the others, not loud, just louder.CONCLUSION: I do NOT recommend it. Worthless junk. Save your money and shop for something else.Very easy to set up. Don't forget to use the enclosed tool to get the battery doors open to install the new batteries. Loud enough to hear in the next room. Excellent help.This is the most simple dumbed down version of an item tracker on the market. No confusing charging wires, easy to replace batteries, numbered and color coded trackers, stickers to label items, and a simple and easy to use remote control. Great for the elderly person in your life that can’t keep up with where they set things down and hasn’t kept up with todays technology.without it I dont think i wouldve found the phone untill the next day. It is a little bit big. Doesn't fit well on my tv remote, which is curvedI have already usednghox to locate my wife's and my keys when we misplace them. Sooo handy BUT!! It's not loud enough. Needs to be much louder for outside use. It's fine inside though.
